Before your first session:
- Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for your first lesson so that you may fill out a brief client health form questionnaire.
- A completed Align Pilates Liability Waiver Form is required prior to first session. Please complete HERE.
- All sessions are 55 minutes. If you are late to your 1:1, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
Clothing/Recommended Attire:
- Wear exercise clothing that allows for a full range of movement.
- Workout pants or leggings are recommended. Please, no baggy shorts.
- Barefeet or socks with grips (no shoes).
Facilities
- Align Pilates is located inside of Montclair Performance Health & Chiropractic, and provides a reception/waiting area, filtered water, a shared bathroom in the hallway, 2 entrances (1 through the parking garage with stairs, 1 at the front of the building at street level) and free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building (please park at the far end near the dumpster).
- Align Pilates has a Metro IQ Balanced Body Reformer and a variety of props for sessions. Sessions take place in a private room.
Cancellation Policy
- 24-hour Cancellation Policy
- For 1:1 Sessions, kindly give 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be subject to the full charge. Please respect this policy as this is a "by appointment" business.
- Studio Closings and Snow Days
- In the event of snow (when schools are closed, etc.) we understand that you may not be able to attend your session. In this case, you will not be charged, and Align Pilates will contact you to rebook.
- Align Pilates will call, text, and/or email you with any unplanned scheduling changes.
Payments
- Payment is due at the time of your visit.
- Sessions may be purchased via Credit Card (through Square), Check, or Cash.
- Payments may be made online HERE.
- All payments are non-refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to vacation, illness, and injury.
- All packages are activated on the date of the first session attended. Packages are valid for 90-120 days. Intro packages are valid for 30 days.
Health and Safety Concerns
- As per the waiver, let Align Pilates know about pertinent health issues or anything you think may affect your workout.
- Align Pilates can communicate with Montclair Performance Health & Chiropractic about your services and care upon request.
- If your condition changes, for instance if you become pregnant or suffer even a minor fall, please let us know so that we may provide the best possible service for you.
- All fitness equipment has its safety concerns, especially if used improperly. Please do not use equipment without an instructor present.
- Consent to Hands on Adjustments
- Clients will be given the option for hands on adjustments and tactile feedback.
- Prenatal and Postnatal
- Prenatal clients are recommended to participate with verbal permission from their obstetrician, General Practitioner, or midwife prior to commencing Pilates, and Postnatal clients are required to receive verbal permission.
